TRG – The Roof Group are pleased to announce that for the 2nd consecutive year we have gained the industry standard pre-qualification compliance with Constructionline in the following assessment areas:

Our Constructionline accreditation complements our CHAS health and safety approval including an enterprise Social Value assessment.

The Roof Group Gain Health and Safety Accreditation

TRG – The Roof Group are pleased to announce that we have gained CHAS Health and Safety accreditation and certification for the third year running. During the assessment process TRG – The Roof Group demonstrated compliance with the CHAS standards in line with SSIP Core Criteria and UK Health and Safety Legislation and have been awarded accreditation to the requirements of the Construction (Design Management) Regulations 2015.

After an extensive accreditation process we can today announce that we are CHAS accredited.

This means that all of our customers can now be assured that our construction health safety including our general operations, incorporating our risk assessments and method statements, and our employee welfare processes and procedures have been fully and independently assessed in line with nationally recognised standards for ongoing compliance and meet all of the required criteria for construction industry health and safety certification.

A Great New Office Build

TRG – The Roof Group are pleased to announce that the construction of our additional office space is now complete. Our office in the South West of the UK has been added to by the construction of a 40sq meter, training room, desk space, comfort and kitchen facilities. This additional space will allow more collaborative team working and additional meeting and training room. There is also the addition of a separate training and storage facility ensuring a separation of tasks. The new office is situated on private land which also provides parking for a number of company and visitor vehicles. We look forward to welcoming you in!

As the office build is self funded and on private land we will have complete control over its layout and design and how it will fit with our future plans – we can’t wait to move from our current ‘virtual collaboration’ and get in!”

TRG – The Roof Group, Health and Safety Away Day

As part of TRG The Roof Groups ongoing commitment to the Health and Safety of our operatives and people we work with our team enjoyed a full ‘away day’ updating themselves the key aspects of Emergency First Aid with a classroom based course delivered by First Aid Education Limited.

The course provided assessment in the subject for the purposes of Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and provided each attendee with a certificated level 3 award and all were judged competent to administer first aid. All our operatives and the subcontractors we work with complete a regular competency assessments which includes Health and Training assessments.

Aaron Mansfield Operations Director who also attended the course commented that “in what can be considered a high risk occupation certificated Health and Safety Training along with onsite tool box talks is essential to ensuring that as far as we can TRG – The Roof Group employees and our subcontractors are best equipped to complete their tasks in a safe a manner as possible”.

Roofing Accreditation: TRG – The Roof Group Gain NFRC CPS

TRG The Roof Group are pleased to announce that we are now one of the few roofing companies within the Southwest of England to be part of the National Federation of Roofing Contractors Competent Person Scheme. Following a rigorous process of on site and back-office accreditation by the CPS we were accepted on to this government backed scheme. The NFRC CPS roofing accreditation means that our work has been independently vetted for its quality and that we are able to self-certify our work as compliant with building regulations meaning that our customers will not have to arrange Local Authority building inspection for roofing work as is usually required. Public Sector Supplier Approval

TRG – The Roof Group are excited to announce that we have been successful in our application to be pre-approved to provide our services to the UK wide public sector.

After a complex application process involving provision of multiple pieces of company documentation including corporate controls and policies, the contracting authority board of assessors approved our application.

Aaron Mansfield TRG Director said: “This is another step in the achievement of our longer term strategic plans. To be in a position to have the internal controls and processes, and then to be able utilise them to achieve pre-approved status for supplying the public sector is a vindication of our approach to professionalism and doing things in the right way. I’d like to personally thank everyone in our application team for their efforts”.

An Exclusive ‘New Build’ Project for TRG The Roof Group

TRG – The Roof Group Limited are excited to announce that following a competitive tender process we have been chosen to commence the roofing and vertical elevation details of one of the most interesting and prestigious residential new builds in the South West!

This thoroughly modern and exclusive newbuild is built in a traditional style which encompasses; oak framing, vaulted ceilings and extensive country side views. The build is situated in one of the west countries most exclusive locations (in fact it is so exclusive that we are not allowed tell you where it is).

The roof alone is over 500sq meters in area and is to be completed tiled with additional vertical tiled elevations.

The work is scheduled to take place over the winter of 2021/22 and we are hoping for kind weather to ensure we make good progress for our client!
